We measure, configure, and we give you a working room.
Most audio systems are signed off on the opinion of whoever happened to be standing in the room at the time, not an audio expert. That is why so many of them are still being complained about six months later. We measure before we tune, we measure after we tune, and the results speak for themselves.
Room response and reverberation
RT60 across the octave bands, so the tuning corrects the room that exists rather than the room on the drawing.
Speech intelligibility
STI measured at the listening positions that matter, which is the number that actually predicts whether people will complain.
Sound pressure level and coverage
Level and consistency across the seating area, checked against the design intent rather than assumed from the loudspeaker layout.
Background noise
Ambient level and noise criteria, because a room with an air conditioning problem cannot be tuned out of it and you should know that before you are blamed for it.
Echo cancellation performance
Verified from the far end on a real call, with convergence and double-talk behaviour checked rather than assumed from a green light on a meter.

From the microphone element to the loudspeaker, and the network in between.
Gain structure and signal path
Input trim, headroom, unity gain through the chain and clean level at every stage. Most audio problems we are called to are a gain structure problem wearing a different hat.
Echo cancellation and noise reduction
Reference routing, AEC tuning, noise and reverberation suppression set to the room rather than left at default. Verified from the far end, not from the rack.
Automatic mixing and microphone management
Gating and gain-sharing automixers, NOM attenuation, chairman priority, push-to-talk logic and microphone isolation.
Beamforming and voice lift
Ceiling and table array configuration, lobe and coverage mapping, voice lift gain-before-feedback and the delay work that keeps reinforcement natural.
Loudspeaker zoning, EQ and alignment
Zone layout, crossover and limiter settings, room correction EQ, time alignment and coverage balance across the listening area.
Conferencing integration
USB and soft codec routing, mix-minus, Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms audio device configuration, and the far-end behaviour that decides whether a meeting works.
Paging, voice evacuation and sound masking
Zone paging, priority and ducking rules, life-safety interfaces where required, and masking level and spectrum tuning.
Networked audio
Dante, AES67 and AVB routing, clocking and latency, plus the switch configuration that networked audio depends on and rarely gets.
Presets, logic and control integration
Combine and divide, day and night modes, occupancy behaviour, mute logic and the interlocks that keep a room recoverable, exposed cleanly to the control system.
It is rarely the thing everyone assumes.
After enough rooms, the same handful of causes come up again and again. None of them are found by listening.
The far end cannot hear the room properly
Voices drop in and out and the echo canceller chews the first syllable of every sentence. The people in the room hear nothing wrong, because the problem only exists on the other end of the call.
The gain structure was never set
Every stage compensating for the last one, no headroom anywhere, and a system that sounds harsh at any usable level. This is the single most common cause we find, and it is invisible without measurement.
The microphone coverage does not match the room
Arrays aimed at a table that has since moved, lobes covering the doorway rather than the seats, or a ceiling height nobody re-checked after the fit-out changed.
Nobody knows what is in the DSP file
An undocumented configuration, no record of what changed or why, and an engineer who has left. We audit the file, document what it does and rebuild the parts that cannot be justified.
One room sounds right and twenty do not
The same kit, the same drawings, twenty different results, because each was tuned by ear on the day. We define an audio standard, prove it in one room and roll the verified configuration across the estate.
The space divides and the audio does not follow
Combine and divide behaviour, shared microphones, paging that needs to reach one half and not the other. This is where most DSP configurations quietly fall apart.
It is not the DSP at all
Sometimes the ceiling is too reflective, the glass wall is doing exactly what glass does, or the air conditioning is sitting ten decibels above where it should be. No amount of processing fixes those, and we will say so.

Scope and drawing review
We read the schematic, equipment schedule, ceiling plan and room acoustics before quoting. Where the design will not achieve what is being asked of it, we say so at this stage.
Audio Performance Specification
A written description of how each space will behave and what it will be measured against at handover. You sign it off. It becomes the acceptance test.
Configuration
The DSP file, microphone configuration and network routing built against the signed specification.
Bench testing
Configuration loaded and proven on the bench before it reaches site, so the first day on site is spent tuning the room rather than finding out the file does not load.
Onsite tuning and verification
Baseline measurement, tuning in the room, far-end call testing and final measurement against the specification.
Handover
Configuration files, as-built documentation and the measurement pack delivered to you. They are yours, not ours.

In engineering hours against a fixed rate card, broken down across the relevant services as per the project requirements. Take all of our services or any one of them. Scope is agreed before a number is issued, so the quotation reflects the work in front of us rather than a guess with contingency built into it.

Common questions.
Can you fix a room that has already been signed off?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We take a baseline measurement first so there is an agreed starting point, then tune against the specification. Where the problem is acoustic rather than electronic, we will tell you that and show you the numbers behind it.
Do you work direct, or only through integrators?
Both. We are engaged directly by organisations that own their AV estate, and we work as the audio team behind other integrators. Where a partner introduces us to an end client, that client remains the partner's and it is written into the engagement.
Do you supply the hardware as well?
No. We configure, tune and commission, we do not sell the equipment. It means no margin of ours sits inside your bill of materials and no dealer agreement steers what we recommend.
What do we actually receive at handover?
The commented DSP file, the microphone and network configuration, as-built documentation and the measurement pack showing the baseline and the final state. There is no retained-file arrangement and no charge for release.
How much of the work can be done remotely?
Configuration, microphone setup and network routing are done remotely. Tuning and verification need an engineer in the room, so those days are scoped separately and you only pay for the attendance the project actually needs.
Do you work outside the UK?
Yes. We deliver projects across the UK, Europe and the United States. Configuration and support are remote-led in all three territories, with onsite tuning scheduled against the project programme.
